Whether you are a first-time bushwalker, seeking a short stroll finishing with a picnic with a view or perhaps a more adventurous day out on the trails, the Blue Mountains really does have it all. From stunning waterfalls, iconic locations, diverse flora and wildlife to spot, along with endless views in every direction, there really is something for every taste, ability and purpose.
And so, it’s hardly surprising that many of our guests return again and again during every season and try different walks, come rain or shine and explore new paths each time.
But whether it’s your first time, or you’re an avid bushwalker, there is no better time to walk than during spring when the air is cooler and the flowers are blooming and putting on a stunning display of colour. Have your camera handy!
With so many trails on offer, we found this useful list of walks, where you can check out the grade of track, the distance and heaps of other useful information on the route to help you choose a walk to suit your needs. Check it out here and pick a walk for every day of your visit!
For those of you new to walking in the Mountains, please do ensure you stay up to date with closures or changes to trails on the NSW Government website here – National Parks and Wildlife Service Park Closure
And when you have soaked up the Blue Mountains air, worked up an appetite and have a sense of achievement, returning to a Mountain Whispers’ property for a warm bath and hearty dinner, is the perfect way to end your adventures.
We would love to hear all about your walks so why not share some photos and tag us at #mountainwhispers @mountainwhispers on socials!
